All Systems Operational - Earlier Issues Resolved

Between the evening of October 19 and the afternoon of October 20 (PDT), a major outage at AWS, caused disruptions that affected temporary issues with our support systems (chat and email), and order handling via Kustom.

The root cause was identified as DNS resolution issues within AWS's DynamoDB service, which led to broader service impairments across multiple AWS services. These issues were resolved by AWS, and all related systems have now returned to normal.

  • You can now contact our support team as usual via chat and email.
  • Order handling via Kustom should also be functioning normally again.

We’re continuing to monitor all systems closely and appreciate your patience during the disruption.

    1. Support Access Restored - Response Times May Be Delayed

      We’re continuing to see some residual issues following today’s earlier AWS outage.

      You may still experience occasional difficulties reaching our support team via chat or email. Additionally, some stores may continue to face problems when processing orders via Kustom as a payment method.

      We’re actively monitoring the situation. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

    2. AWS are showing signs of recovery.

      They continue to work through a backlog of queued requests. We will continue to provide additional information.

    3. Some disruptions due to ongoing AWS outages

      Amazon Web Services (AWS) is currently experiencing service disruptions.

      This may impact areas of the Quickbutik platform, including:

      • Order processing via Kustom
      • Our customer support systems (chat and email)

      As a result, you may experience delays when trying to reach our support team.
